After graduating from university Eva in the midst of the Global Financial Crisis. Consequently, she decided to take her future into her own hands and created a small avant garde collection that saw her win the Student Designer category in the 2009 NRA Australian Fashion Awards.
The award included a scholarship to France at the prestigious Paris American Academy where Eva studied fashion and learnt formal couture techniques. The opportunity meant that Eva had the privilege to work with some of the most influential and leading people in the fashion industry, including representatives from high end labels such as Dior, YSL and Elie Saab.
After winning the award, Eva received an overwhelming response from writers and journalists requesting to interview her and photograph her designs for inclusion in the local newspaper. With each interview came further opportunities that opened up new doors for Eva and what has been an exciting launch for her label.
